Continuity Care Scotland aim to retain the amazing people that we recruit. We look at the whole person not just their qualifications and take great pride in finding the correct person to be a part of our team. There are many reasons that make our support workers the best. When recruiting we note their character, commitment and whether their values are in line with those of Continuity Care Scotland’s.
Continuity Care Scotland believes that by developing as individuals and investing in our team maintains the ethos of the company.
Our support workers believe that the client always comes first and the tasks that are to be completed are necessary to improve the quality of their clients’ lives.
We have a diverse team of support workers which allows for more options in selecting the correct person for you.
Continuity Care Scotland’s support workers have a desire to care for others and they are carefully selected on the following basis:
All support workers must have satisfactory references and be fully PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups) compliant before being invited for training. Full classroom based training spread over five days is given to all of our support workers regardless of their background and past experiences. On satisfactory completion of classroom training our support workers will work for two weeks in the community supervised by a qualified support worker. On satisfactory completion of this a meeting with our service manager will be arranged to welcome our new recruit to the Continuity Care Scotland family.
